The wheel pose is a great way to get your energy moving and flowing.
On a spiritual or metaphysical level the wheel pose opens the heart, ignites all 7 chakras, strengthens the solar plexus chakra, and begins to circulate the creative energy in the second chakra. Physically the wheel pose strengthens the vertebre, increases flexibility of the spine, and decreases compression of the vertebre. It opens the rib cage, losens tight hips, and decreases fat around the obliques and abs. Consciousness is key while relaxing into these poses, so think harmonious thoughts and breath deep.
